SO for Dinner tonight I made diet- compliant General Tso's chicken, with cauliflower rice and a baby kale salad. Someone asked me at work today if I was "carb loading" in prep for competition- I laughed and said I don't do that crap- because I don't. That's not behind the idea of crossfit. I feed my body to perform at any time, all the time. So I'm just trying a new approach to my meal timing this week, for a lifestyle change (prepping for SUMMER!!!), but I'm still eating well balanced, nutritious meals and I'm lowering my carb intake at the end of the day as usual.

My parents came back from New Orleans and picked up the dogs tonight, and my mommy surprised me with LULU!! Unfortunately 2/4 items she brought were too big and 1/4 is slightly too small- I know it'll fit better once I'm actually full blown into this MY program, but when I go exchange the other items I will try on the other size to feel it out. Best thing- the crops! Such an awesome color, I now have bright pink, bright purple, and bright blue- win. In general, I am not a brand-snob. I really love Nike sports bra tanks, I really love Reebok volleyball shorts for my morning workouts/just lifting, I love underarmor Get Set Go shorts (http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/1236477/pid1236477-440) which are better, in my opinion, than the Lulu Speed shorts... but I wear random sports bras, I really don't stress about it. If it fits, and I like how it works when I work, I buy multiples- but I always try new stuff.
So there I am, the end of my night- another successful day of not cheating on my new program. I feel like it's easier to stay on track and I don't know if it's something I changed about my routine, myself, or if having oatmeal back has really just completed my life.
Nite Nite
*Stay Fit* I'll check in from competition this weekend!!!
