Day 2 Recap

Well, I made it to the gym and out by 5:05- I did my mile run and abs at home later, but I got through my full body circuit! My meals went down the drain though as I ate breakfast late yesterday and the timing got thrown off :( that was a HUGE Breakfast My first snack happened at 11:00- We had Rudy's catered in, so instead of warming up the meat I brought, I grabbed chicken and brisket with a protein shake and a small apple Then the day got away from me- I had 2 strawberries at my conference time, I ate 2oz of steak before I left work at 3:15 (I skipped early to get to the gym!) and then did the full body circuit. The only problem I ran into was cable flyes- they were very busy :( so I subbed dumbbell flyes figuring it was better than nothing. I also skipped hamstring curls and leg extensions, due to crossfit training and my coach's HUGE opposition to it plus I will go to crossfit tonight and they'll kill my hamstrings and quads, so I'm not really "skipping it" but doing crossfit on top of this program is making me change things up a bit. I want to do a figure show on Sept 21 (it's a local, small event) and then see how I do, if I need to higher a trainer then I will to do a show on October 12 or November 2. But I also know that I will be competing in crossfit on top of that, even if I drop to 3 or 4 days a week (from 5-6) - I cannot be without it, I love it and I'm getting more competitive, so I don't want to give that up. After the gym I came home and started dinner, I took my boys on a walk while my spaghetti squash cooked and then I prepped meatballs and went on my run. I ran a 6:48 mile, which is another 20seconds down from when I did the Whole30. I then did abs, I only got 2 sets of jack knife sit-ups and full situps before the dogs went crazy being locked outside. I'll finish those and planks this afternoon. So then I ate dinner, It was delicious- I minced garlic on sunday and put it in olive oil in tupperware... it makes a great marinade for chicken on Day 2 if you're there! I showered and went to bed, later than my normal due to a boy *blushes*... it's exciting just to talk to someone new, I met him at the event on Saturday... and he's super cute :) ANYWAYS... My biggest bad habit still from whole30 is munching on almonds and cashews mindlessly- which, another reminder to myself... I haven't had much trouble with the gallon of water a day, I started that awhile back but I still mindlessly munch after a bad day, especially coco roasted almonds... rut roh. So that was day 2... coming (very shortly as I'm still at my computer) Day 3 :) *stay fit*
