So I'm updating this on Friday... so let's back track:
Thursday, Phase 1, Week 1, Day 4
I got up at 3:35am, made it to the gym, got everything done for my day except the 20min of HIIT... while I integrate in my CF... I'm going to take this lightly, when it gets later in and I need to do ____ min of cardio I'll take that seriously, but CF is it's own beast on top of this program, so I am taking hack squats, leg extensions, and a few other things "out" of my program, and I change up the sets of DL and lunges just so I don't over do my legs... I squat everytime I got to CF... just not this week! It's a learning week, focusing on MY!

I made these super yummy pancakes instead of French Toast... since I don't eat bread anymore.
1/2 Small Banana, 1/2 small sweet potato, 2 eggs, 1/8 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop protein powder... I added vanilla and cinnamon to taste... but YUM! They were so yummy I had to stop quickly to take a picture before they were gone! I was off campus yesterday bonding with my new 2nd grade team, training for a lesson Tool Kit, I wore my new leopard pencil skirt... and it made me think,

THIS IS A DAMN LIE. Fit girls look AMAZING in clothes, it's not about muscles, but in having a strong core, shapely legs, and defined arms/shoulders... we fill out clothes in a beautiful way- and people notice... the men at lunch noticed, the security guard at HEB... it's a GOOD THING!
While at my meeting a had a snack of almonds, a protein shake, and small apple.
We ate lunch at Old Chicago, I got a chicken wrap with no parmesan (I tried a tortilla for the first time since February!)... it was yummy and filling. I had a side salad instead of fries, and got all sorts of wonderful looks from my new team.. especially when I mentioned I'd been up since 3:35am... OOPS! There is a reason that I do not look like most teachers, I made better choices and force myself to take care of myself.
When I got home I had what I intended on eating for lunch as a snack,

a chicken breast, salad, red onion, and green pepper.
I then prepped soup for my friend James who just had his wisdom teeth out, I made him roasted Butternut Squash and Garlic soup... it was yummy, wish I'd saved some for me today on this rainy day.
James then came over, picked up some equipment from my garage as I start prepping to move... I need to start packing my upstairs next week, this move will come fast. I'm still debating between renting and trying to purchase. I know that I will stay in this area until there is a RING on my finger... so, the only question is will I stay in Killeen ISD or move to Waco? I dunno... still have to pack up and move!

Anyways.. dinner was Cashew Chicken with spaghetti squash lettuce "cups"... I really thought about cheating, especially with James, Ben, and Nick talking about pizza... but then I remembered what happens when I eat pizza... INSTANT BLOAT and I feel sick all night... so I made a better choice. I got to bed early, but did not go to the gym this morning on Day 5... I don't feel too terrible about it either. I'll either go tonight or I'll rest another day, I know I am going to CF at 10:00 tomorrow morning... Sunday I will finish out my week with the regular MY Sunday workout... the way I figure it, the first week of MY is a "beginner week" to get people used to the time it will take, to prep their muscles for the amount of work that is about to come... BIG sets were my weakpoint this week, but in terms of work capacity I'm fine. It was a good EGO check this week to have to drop weight to finish my reps, but Phase 2 starts working sets and that is more my speed. In the last 2 weeks I have lost an inch off my waist, an inch off my back/bust, and 1 inch off my hips.... I cannot wait to see how this transformation continues.

This was taken on a vacation in January of 2012... THIS WAS MY WAKE UP CALL. I didn't think I was this out-of shape.... This is when I went paleo...
Since the fall though I've really cleaned up my diet, I've gotten serious with my training... since coming to Crossfit 254 (www.crossfit254.com) actually...
Now I'm in a new transition... and the last 5 days are helping!

So... I'm more motivated than ever, I need to keep going (I'm super FLEXING in the right photo... ) and I want to look like this or better ALL the time without the crazy flexing. I'll get there..
*stay fit* I'll check in this evening!
