Competition Prep

So I woke up today, knowing that my day was going to be pretty rushed, even with taking a half day at work. I made the apple-banana pancakes from Ashley Horner's cookbook... DELICIOUS!!! I went to work, packed a snack but knew that I would eat lunch when I got home. The morning went pretty well, my kids were good- I left before the craziness of me NOT HAVING A SUB even though I put a sub into the system Thursday evening... went down. I tried Greek Yogurt with Blueberries- not a fan of the yogurt... but no intestinal rebuttle, so I guess I'll either blend it into smoothies from now on or just buck up and eat it. I also ate a small portion of oatmeal. For Lunch, I warmed up some General Tso's chicken and paired it with yellow squash, onions, and zucchini Then I hit the road, I snacked on a banana and some cashews- but mostly I just drank water to ease my hungry pains. Once in Houston I checked into my hotel, put a pork shoulder in my crockpot.. YES AT THE HOTEL for tomorrow, and then Headed to LULU (lemon) to exchange the items that were too big/too small. They didn't have perfect exchanges, so I got a pair of Boogie Shorts, two bras, and the same tank my momma bought me but in a different color. I'll be wearing the crops she got me tomorrow at the competition. After getting lost... trying to find food... I finally settled on Juanitas (by my hotel) and had one of the best Fajita Salads I've ever had. It was just what I needed. Now I settle down, finish my gallon of water, I'm going to read a bit to relax my brain and head to sleep. 3 workouts in the morning and then (hopefully) the finals. Will post pics and goodies when it's all done! *stay fit*
