One of those days

It's been one of those days, where my mind travels between the outcome I hope for and the other option... the life I've built and will choose to continue and the life that happens when that fails... gotta stay positive, gotta think that things will turn out how they should and that I shouldn't worry... I'm trying to focus all my negative energy into bettering myself, trying a new ab exercise, a new hair product... tonight my hair will be curly for my dad's pre-birthday dinner and I'm trying a cool new smokey eye... will post pics of hair at least- I'll probably take the makeup off before I take pics. My leg workout was interrupted by an ASSHOLE CURLING IN THE SQUAT RACK this morning- still a little urked, can you tell? I'm trying to mentally prep for another Whole30. I know what I'm doing- but my mindset isn't there yet. Will put up 2 new videos this week at a minimum, choosing a gym and starting another whole30. Plus I finally got to wear my new mint green heels!!! Look at that hard work!!! Stay tuned.

Chicken Bacon Spinach Salad

Dinner Idea! This is what I did for dinner last night, and it was GENIUS and easy! I started with some good old antibiotic free, hormone free, grass fed, free range (enough descriptors?!) chicken breasts and the Applegate Naturals Bacon. I trimmed the chicken and cut it into smaller "bite" size pieces. I wrapped the chicken pieces in bacon and then I pan fried them to "seal"the bacon wrap. While I did all of that my oven preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Once they were "sealed", I put them in a glass dish and baked them uncovered for about 25min until the bacon was transluscent and the fat was rendered. I drained the fat and then I broiled them on low for 5min to crisp the bacon. Afterwards I served my little bacon bites over a spinach salad and had some cucumbers on the side. Delicious, not WHOLE30, but Clean! Try it, it's yummy! I've also done it with a piece of jalapeno wrapped in the chicken pre-bacon, even better :) Enjoy!

Facing Diet Reality

So I'm on day 13 of eating clean again, but as stress kicks in and I lose track of scheduled time I am falling away from my good proportions... I'm in love with tapioca creeps and almond butter this week, and I'm force feeding myself meat. So, eating clean is making BIG changes in my physique, and I hit a 205# front squat last night which is something I haven't done since before my whole30, slim getting there.... But April 1st seems like a great opportunity to start a whole60. That'll get me through this distance, through work until my summer break, and bikini ready! Tonight I'm making bacon wrapped chicken tenders to o over a baby kale and spinach salad.... Folding laundry, and then planning my attack. I'll keep you updated!

OMQ

Oh, My, Quads. (OMQ) a phrase most Crossfitters are feeling after 13.3. I've had a lot of ups and down this past few weeks, but I'm focusing my attention now onto this and my new cosplays that I will start after Easter.
